Natural-fibre sportswear we’re loving right now
There's something super cool about moving your body in clothes made from plants and wool instead of plastic. Less static cling, less synthetic smell after a hot sculpt class, less thinking about where that polyester will end up in fifty years. More breathability, more softness, more good old-fashioned fibre doing what it's always done well.
This isn't a ranking. We don't believe in league tables for brands doing good work; every brand here is answering the same question (how do we move without leaning on synthetics?) in its own way, and that variety is exactly the point. Think of this less as a "best of" list and more as a directory: a handful of choices, depending on what you're looking for, whether that's hemp, merino, organic cotton, European production, or a specific kind of stretch. Pick the one that fits your life, your climate, your workout.

Here are nine brands we're genuinely excited about right now, all doing interesting things with natural fibres in sportswear.
ZUBEK — natural-fibre performance wear
ZUBEK builds performance clothing while steering clear of the usual synthetic fabrics. Merino wool, organic cotton, linen, silk, SeaCell and TENCEL™ form the backbone of the range, with polyester, nylon and acrylic left out entirely. A small percentage of elastane shows up only where genuine stretch is needed. Everything is made in Poland from predominantly European fabrics, and ships to the EU and UK.
